We like to walk the North Coast as often as possible and even in the season some beaches are deceptively big especially at low tide, such as here at Porthcothan.
The tide here goes out for miles and this view is from a photo I took from the Western end by the collapsed arch rocks looking North East towards Trevose head.
But beware the incoming tide as it is a long way to run and not a suitable spot to set up for plein air painting!
