I titled this picture Mystory Tour because when I was staring at a blank sheet I knew I wanted to paint but had no direction in mind.
I started by getting rid of drawing the usual rectangle and trying to make the edge of the painting part of the picture.
I decided I wanted to explore the relationship between pattern and texture and how the mind wants to turn texture into a pattern in order to make sense of what the eye sees.
