Cornish gardens and Cornish trees are a source of great inspiration.
The nodding Eucalyptus with its dancing leaves against the soft Cornish light is the inspiration for this oil painting. Painted in January 2021, Cornish Eucalyptus is part of a series of Cornish garden and Estuary garden Paintings.
With restricted travel i found myself looking skyward at the trees around me. The light and the space beyond contrasts beautifully with the forms of Cornish trees- nurturing, safe with the sky bright and hopeful.
