This haiku was written after a rockpooling walk at Booby’s Bay and inspired this painting. Made with acrylic ink and paint, on plaster on plywood and with a softly undulating waxed surface this is a painting you want to get close to and touch. Additional texture incorporated into the surface is provided by wood ash.
